What to do when we reach a point-zero in life?
What if we feel change approaching but don’t really know how to deal with it?
The point zero is – mathematically and metaphysically – not nothing, but everything. It is not an empty quantity but a fundamental reference point that gives orientation. Zero is the point when one reference frame ends and before a new one starts. It is a point of orientation marking the boundary between what has already taken form and what is about to emerge. It is compressed potential without definition, before polarities, differentiatons and directions.
This zero-point-moment carries a great potential of creation. It marks a point where all possibilities exist, where visions expand without boundaries. It is a point of reset, a new start, a new beginning. It is the central point, the point to center yourself, to take rest before the move forward.
This article aims to put a light on these meaningful moments in life when we reach a point that calls for a re-evaluation of our current situation. By looking closely at the meaning of the zero point from an astrological view, as well as from a personal level, we might get insights that help us making sense of events and circumstances in our lives. Understanding the meaning of the point zero will help us navigate easily through transition times.
Can you feel it – the Wind of Change blowing in the air? I cannot only see it in the outer world but i can somehow feel it inside of me as well. It is not a soft and pleasant breeze, no, i would describe it as rather turbulent. It is more than just a wind, i would call it storm or even hurricane. This strong wind is blowing in the sails pushing the ship forward into the unknown. We are moving forward without knowing where this wind of change is going to take us. What we know is that it brings a period of transition and transformation. Anything could happen, everything is possible.
These moments can feel a bit scary, as if the ground under our feet is shaking or even taken away by a greater force. It can be a rather turbulent time period and we are challenged to stay firm and strong in the center of the storm and trust that everything is for the better in the end.
During our life time we pass through different phases, stages, seasons. We experience endings and new beginnings all the time. We finish small and big cycles and start new ones, if we are aware of it or not. We encounter times of change on a regualr basis, isn’t it?
Change and transformation are inevitable and part of our life. We can’t avoid it as you can see it so nicely expressd in the Bahagvadgita:
The only constant thing in life is change.
We have to deal with change all the time and it’s not always easy, but we have to get used to it and learn to make the best out of these periods of time which often carry great potential. During a transition phase which takes us from the old to the new, we will reach the point-zero. This is the point of turning, a moment filled with potential, a moment that carries the opportunity for transformation. At these specifique moments in life we are invited to participate and go consciously through these times of transition.
Not so long ago a rare astrological event happened and i was invited to take a deeper look at the sky and learn about the meaning of the constellation. I remember the saying “as above so below” and got intrigued about how this transit could influence my own current situation and what i could learn from it and implement into my life. So i took the opportunity for a reflection of the last years in my life – and yeah, i could suddenly see the ending cycle(s) and the great opportunity for re-creating a new vision of the future.
I have not much knowledge of Astrology but i receive newsletters from astrobutterfly in which the author elaborates and explains what’s going on in the sky. And every time i am quite astonished to recognize the synchronicities of cosmic and personal situations and circumstances. It is stunning how the astrological view of things always resonates with where i am standing at that specific moment. Understanding these correlations helps me navigating through my life. It brings confirmation of being on the right path.
Being in synchronicity means personal and cosmic energy is aligned and life starts to unfold in a magical manner.
Times of transition invite us to re-write our personal story and
to bring forth visions of higher purpose into manifestation
Now is a good time to do our inner work. Transitions are opportunities to re-create our dreams and visions. This is a time of reflection and not the time for action yet. Before we can re-shape our reality, we have to examine our inner world, re-visualize our dreams and get ready to act towards making them come true!
This is the time to get clear and figure out which thoughts and ideas about ourself and the world are still from value. We should ask ourself which dreams and visions are actually truly ours and not somebody elses. Which dreams are real heart desires longing to become true? Am i walking a path that is not truly mine? Am i fullfilling social expectations without being able to really stand behind the idea itself? Where do i want to go, where to reach? How i wanna feel? Which of my dreams and visions are still worth pursuing?
When we listen carefully to our heart, we will know what is worth continuing and what can be released and let go of now, and this could be anything from thought or behaviour patterns, to negative feelings and emotions, work, places even people. It is time to allow the heart to show us new ways of being so we can imagine and envision a fresh start, a brighter future.
A vision that is aligned with your values and greater soul content
is the most powerful force in the Universe!
Maybe you can feel this shift of energy already for some time and you know somehow that a time of change has arrived, but you couldn’t yet figure out how to read the signs and what to make out of it.
When we look at the sky, so to say, we might get some insights about what’s going on down here on earth and get some clarification about these times of change. I find it highly interesting how the placements of the stars and planets are influencing our earthly reality. And without knowing anything or very little about reading the sky, it seems to me that i usually unconsciously feel the certain energies produced by the objects in the sky. Their specific placements and their movements and transits relate to what’s going on here on Earth and we all are somehow influenced by it and can feel it in one way or the other.
This time of change carries a great potential to make things happen,
to take ideas, dreams and visions and manifest them into the 3D reality.
So let’s have a closer look at the astroological aspect and influence. We are talking about two planets with two fundamentally different meanings that were both spending the last 3 years in Pices until the moment of their meeting. They created a rare astrological event which happened on February 20, 2026:
Neptune and Saturn meet every app. 36 years and if we look at history, we can see that this astrological event coincides with big moments of change and the fall of power structures. Saturn-Neptune conjunctions always bring the ending of a cycle. This year, 2026, the two planets happend to aligned at 0° Aries after spending the last 3 years together in the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces, which is as to say Neptuns “homeland”. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and brings the energy of fire, the energy of radiance, inspiration and vitality. It is about intitiation, activation, direction and decisions. 0° Aries is the starting point of the zodiac, the very beginning that marks the beginning of a new cycle.
The 0° Aries, also called Aries-Point, is the equinox point, when day and night are approximately equal everywhere on Earth. It marks a new seasonal cycle, the moment when the solar cycle renews itself. It is a reference point and the zodiacs origin point. Human beings have been tracking this turning point in the year for thousands of years. Temples and monuments like Stonehendge and many others, were built throughout the ancient world across cultures to mark this seasonal moment. These structures are aligned to the phases of the solar cycle in order to highlight the quality of change and the initiation of something new.
Basically after every winter, we feel like waking up from a hibernation, a wintersleep or even -freeze. At the moment of spring’s arrival, we can feel a change of energy. Only by hearing the word “spring”, we can feel it already, just the mere thought about it brings in energy, life force and re-activation. We can feel the wind of change which is clearly bringing a new beginning and announcing a new season.
Saturn and Neptune aligned at the Aries Point. This specifique point brings in a very important aspect to this conjunction, the deeper meaning of point-zero: The Zero Point is – mathematically and metaphysically – not nothing, but everything. The zero is not an empty quantity but a fundamental reference point. Zero is the point when one reference frame ends and before a new one starts. It is a point of orientation. The point zero marks the boundary between what has already taken form and what is about to emerge. It is compressed potential without definition, before polarities, differentiations and directions.
The zero point can be compared with a black hole or the Bindu (the central point of the mandala) that pulls everything in its center, where everything becomes singularity. It is a point where our existing laws of physic can’t describe what’s happening, as it is something fundamentally different, so different that we don’t have words to desccribe it. Regular rules don’t apply anymore.
The zero point carries a great potential of creation,.
It is the point where all possibilities exist, where visions expand without boundaries.
Let’s have now a closer look at the two planets that come together at exactly this zero point, at the bginning of a new cycle:
Saturn is the last of the visible planets in our solarsystem which makes Saturn the gatekeeper of the visible world. For centuries it marked the boundaries of the known cosmos. Saturn sits at the edge between the visible and the invisible world symbolizing the threshold where possibiliy becomes reality.
Saturn makes ideas become structured, visions become commitments and potential turns into results. Saturn shapes the social world, its structures and ideologies. Saturn stands for rules, regulations and systems. It sets borders and boundries. It is our 3D reality, the physical material world. Satun is the builder as it provides the structure that makes creation possible in this dimension. Reality is made from chosen form.
Neptune in contrary represents the formless snd governs the realm of ideas, dreams and visions. It is the intuition that arises before we can “grab it” and articulate it.
Neptune is the first of the three outer planets and called the planet of illusion or dellusion. Neptune is the realm of all possibilities beyond imagination. Neptune carries infinite potential – anything can be, anything can happen, everything is possible.
Neptune is the God of the Oceans and all that exists between heaven and earth.
It is the god of the in between representing the collective heart and the collective vibes. Neptune governs the abstract manipulation of reality and the underlying field that connects us. It governs invisible connections, flow and the movements across distance that unite.
When the boundary-setting Saturn and the boundary-dissolving Neptune align, they bring two different worlds together and borders get blurry. Saturn is the 3D realm, the physical world, our body, our house, our job. It represents the reality of the 5 senses. Neptune is the 4D realm, the realm of thought, emotion, belief, imagination and communication. It represents the space where ideas are born and where dreams live.
Neptune brings in time that functions as the necessary fourth dimension in the mathematical model of reality, providing a unique temporal coordinate for every event.
Human life is unfolding in these two realities. As human beings we are operation in between this two worlds all the time, standing firm in the 3D reality while trying to catch and make meaning of the invisible and unexplainable.
The emergence of this two planets brings two fundamentally different forces together which create a great field of possibilites and a moment in time when ideas and visions can be brought into our world and into manifestation, not all of them of course, but certainely some of them. Their conjunction coincides with a re-defenition of what is considered real and possible.
This is a powerful moment when reality is re-imagining itself
and when collective (and individual) reality is re-shaped.
The collective dimension of this alignment could be described as the hatching of the cosmic egg.
Neptune is the undifferentiated state in which everything exists without or before taking form. It could be described as the cosmic egg which holds everything but nothing distinct yet.
When we imagine Neptune as the Cosmic Egg, Saturn would be the force that makes the egg crack open. Saturn is what becomes concret in time and space, it is the form that emerges from the egg, the skeleton. Saturn is the foundational architect of form, the function of what has been chosen. It represents the long-term outcome, results gained through selection and definition. Saturn is the planet of manifestation and accomplishments in the 3D world.
The moment of a Saturn-Neptune conjunction marks the creation of a new myth that is materializing in the world. It is as if a portal has opened, a window of opportunities, or a door through which dreams and visions can be brought into our world and be manifested.
The essence of the Saturn-Neptun moment is the imagination
that is so intense that it creates reality and make things happen..
The Hatching of the Cosmic Egg is a great visual expression for this astrological event that announces the dawn of a new era, a time of change and transformation. When there is an imbalance between what is dreamed and what is true, something needs to happen to restore equilibrium. This rare astrological moment provides a unique temporal coordinate for a correction.
Vision seeks Action.
Imagination creates Manifestation.
Vision becomes Reality.
At an individual level – which is really the only place where we have any control, and the only place we should care about, especially since we’re talking about 0° Aries – it’s about recognizing where we’ve been acting out of energetic debt.
You surely know the meaning of the expression to live in a borrowed time, right? We are all living in a borrowed time, not knowing when our time is up. We should therefore treasure every moment – because every day could be our last…
This conjunction asks us to come back to ourselves, and live from who we are in the now.
If Neptune at 0° Aries comes to reveal: “This was never real”,
Saturn says: “Then let’s build what is”.
Neptune inspires generosity and vision, while Saturn demands discipline and smarter long-term planning. This is your cue to balance dreams with practical action.
It is a great time to reflect on all the dreams and goals that we have accumulated over time and ask ourselves how accurate they really are. Which dreams are truly our owns and which goals are still worth to pursue. Which dreams we really want to become true?
We are invited to cross the threshold from Illusion into Reality and from borrowed time into the Now. It is the ending of a life lived on borrowed terms and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to return to the essence and to start from truth.
When we talk about new beginnings, we have to mention the important fact that there must have been a proper ending of the previous cycle before a new cycle can start. We have to keep in mind that before we can move on, we have to get clear about what we need to finish now. What needs to end? What do we want to take with us into that new era? And what do we want to let go? What do we need to let behind so we can start fresh?
New beginnings involve making space for something new. We have to clean up, clear out, let go of what we know and surrender into the unknown. Let’s focus on the spring vibes and get in motion and start clean our place and clear our space.
Before we move forward and into action, we have to consciously pass through this transit of surrender. We have to acknowledge the importance of withdrawal and reset in between the end of the old world and the emergence of the new world. This precious moment when something ends and just before something new starts is the zero point, a truly powerful moment filled with great potential.
We have to prepare ourselves and get ready to do the first step into the unknown. We have to get clear about our dreams. And we have to set the intention before committing to the realization and achievement of any goal.
In ancient Mesopotamia, commercial dealings and debts were recorded on clay tablets. With time, more and more records would accumulate across these tablets, until at some point they would become almost impossible to decipher. It became difficult to make sense of the records and no one could fully tell anymore who owed whom what.
Periodically, usually upon the ascendancy of a new monarch, the tablets would be cleared. It no longer mattered what was recorded on the old tablet, what was owed or to whom. The slate would be wiped clean and the world would go on, keep functioning without massive collapse. They simply started from zero. No burden was carried forward. And with the new tablet a new story was about to be written.
The point-zero is the inevitable place when the slate is wiped clean and something new must be inscribed. It brings the chance to return to the essence, to be(come) authentic, real and true and start from scratch.
The point-zero indicates the moment before the start, the stillness before the movement. It symbolizes the seed (which carries all information and potential) in the very moment before it germs and reveals itself. The zero point represents the primordial point where all energy is gathered before the expansion. It is the central point, the point to center ourselves and to take rest before the move forward..
It is time now to let go of what holds us back.
It is time to trust the Universe to guide us into the right action.
It is time to get ready to open the door that leads into a New World.
Let’s move forward and create a new story.
When we arrive at a point-zero in life, we might feel insecure and even scared because we do not know what is going to happen. When we reach at such a point, we can feel restless and even overhelmed because we do not know how to deal with the situation and how to re-act. Then we should remember to pause and reflect before we re-set.
The zero point marks the start of a new begining that is about to emerge and a new story that is about to be written. It indicates that specific moment, just before the first step. This moment has a great potential for a new conscious beginning. It is not the actual beginning yet, it is the preparation phase, the moment before the first step. And i am not talking about a moment from human perspective, a moment in human life that is perceived as rather short, like a minute or so. No, i am talking about a cosmic moment which is the period of time just before doing the first step. It is a phase in life that asks for deep inner work and intention setting. The step forward, the move towards a (new) dream or goal which has to be done eventually, requires commitment, so first we must get clear on what to commit to.
When we are at a zero point, we are invited to let behind what we don’t need anymore, anything what might could negatively impact our journey towards advancement and expansion in life. It is time to let go of old habits, outdated thought patterns and behaviours. That’s the moment to become clear, to clean up our minds and hearts in order to start fresh and new.
The zero point is all about getting clear.
Surrender and get still. Pause an re-juvenate. Gather your energy for the breaking point, the actual moment of the new beginning. Don’t push yourself to start before you are ready for it but don’t try to push it out by telling you “forever” that you’re not ready yet – because the breaking point will come eventually. Then better be ready for the jump into the cold water. It is time to step forward from the past into a bright and exciting future.
Take your time.
Center yourself.
Listen to your heart.
AND WRITE YOUR OWN NEW MYTH!
