It is said that we are all made of stardust… We are all tiny parts of the whole and just one expression of the One Conscoiusness. The 5-pointed star, or pentagram, represent the 4 cardinal directions, or the 4 primal elements earth, air, fire and water, plus the top point symbolizing spirit. When the star is surrounded by a circle the symbol is called a pentacle symbolizing the interconnectedness and representing the unity of the world within one reality or the divine. This ancient symbol is often used for protection.
The inverted version of the pentagram displays the star “upside down” and is not more or less good, it usually symbolizes a grounding motif, a giving back to the earth, or a releasing of some sort.
